Build it. Test it. Improve it.

Prototyping & Validation

Prototyping turns ideas on a screen into products that can be touched, used, tested, and understood. We develop prototypes throughout the product-development process to evaluate design, functionality, ergonomics, engineering, materials, and overall product performance. This allows important decisions to be made using real-world information rather than assumptions. Testing and validation help identify technical challenges before they become expensive production problems. What we learn is fed back into the design, allowing the product to improve with each iteration.

1

Rapid Prototyping

Creating physical models quickly to evaluate concepts, dimensions, form, fit, and usability.

2

Functional Prototypes

Building working prototypes that integrate mechanical, electrical, and other product systems.

3

Appearance Models

Producing high-quality models for evaluating colour, materials, finishes, detailing, and overall product presentation.

4

Engineering Prototypes

Testing mechanisms, assemblies, electronics, materials, components, and technical performance.

5

Performance Testing

Evaluating whether the product performs according to its intended requirements and real-world use.

6

Design Validation

Testing usability, functionality, durability, reliability, and other critical product requirements.

7

Pre-Production Validation

Confirming that designs, components, tooling, and manufacturing requirements are ready before larger production begins.

Every prototype gives us an opportunity to learn, improve, and move closer to the right product.

From First Prototype to Validated Design

Turning the design into something you can hold and test — prototypes, measurement, and the iterations that follow until the results hold up.
